Can you feel anticipation in the air? Oh yes and why is that, you may ask? The UK duo is set to release a follow-up to their legendary debut EP ‘Settle’! Its title will be ‘Caracal’ and the official release date is set for 25th September! It will be released via PMR & Island Records, just like ‘Settle’.

In terms of the duo’s sophmore album title, Howard had to share the following:

caracal is an incredible wild cat that I became fascinated with while on tour last year; I just love the way they look, their physical capabilities and their anonymity. It felt like a perfect fit for our Wild Life brand too, so the caracal made perfect sense as the lead visual for the new album and over the course of recording, it also felt like a natural title for the new record too.

Below you can check out Caracal’s trailer:

The Disclosure bros have already released two singles off ‘Caracal’ – Bang That (fantastic EDM banger, which has received a generally positive reception) and Holding On (feat. the amazing US Jazz Vocal Gregory Porter). Both tracks are great but should be judged on their own merits. I, for one, tend to like Holding On a bit more. Gregory Porter’s vocals, the catchy beat, Disclosure’s signature sound… It’s bound to become a summer hit, no doubt about it!

If you’re not all that convinced, just have a listen – I can guarantee that you’ll instantly be hooked

But let’s not discriminate Bang That…

As for the confirmed collabs we should be expecting on ‘Caracal’ – Lion Babe, Nao, Lorde, Gregory Porter and Kwabs, just to name a few…

By the looks of it, Disclosure’s second album will be either as equally good as ‘Settle’ or better! Either option works for me, to be fair because the Disclosure gents can do no wrong in my eyes!
